how to recycle bubble paper products and other packaging materials
-
step 1: check local rules
Bubble Paper Products are paper-based, and accepted by nearly all recycling facilities. However there may be specific local criteria on the paper’s state (uncontaminated, not shredded, etc.). It is important that you check your local waste collection and recycling websites for directions. For example, some recycling facilities do not take glass, certain plastics or have specific criteria for plastic containers.
-
step 2: identify
Our paper-based products are 100% certified curbside recyclable, and carry the How2Recycle ‘widely recyclable’ label below. Other packaging you received may such as plastic may have a different How2Recycle label. You can visit the How2Recycle website to identify your label, and understand how it can or cannot be recycled. If there is no label, try your best to identify the material. Local recycling facility websites can also help you identify your material, and the best way to recycle or dispose of it.
-
step 3: clean & separate
Remove all contents from the packaging and separate the recyclable from the non recyclable material. Wash out any residue in accordance with your local criteria. Your Bubble Paper products can be collected at curbside along with most paper products. Follow the directions from your local recycling facility for all other items.
